it’s getting hot in here
In August 2024, I was approached to join a team of people putting together an underground alternative queer night in a pushback against a lack of queer nightlife space in Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival. As well as helping to organise and produce the night, I was asked to draft some visuals and graphics for the logo, which you can find below. Although the event didn’t end up going ahead, I was still happy with the provisional work I had put in for it. I wanted something sexy and fiery to reflect the name and vibe of the event, while still keeping a more grungy aesthetic to showcase the alternative aspect of the night.
