Sometimes you have to be dedicated to the concept, and that involves getting in a river in full drag. This show was inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, particularly following the commercial success of online episodic series such as Critical Role and Dimension 20, as well as more general fantasy franchises such as The Lord of the Rings. We had to time the shoot right to get the lighting we wanted, and it was a bit of a tight squeeze time-wise to get everything done in time, but I’m pretty happy with what we achieved. Any excuse to wear elf ears, really.
